Our Watermelon Sunscreen Oil SPF50 does not contain Oxybenzone or Octinoxate. This means it is considered ‘Hawaii Reef Bill Safe.’

How often should I apply this sunscreen oil?

We always recommend being sun-safe, avoiding the sun during the peak of the day and wearing a hat, sunglasses and protective clothing.

How do you use the Watermelon Sunscreen Oil SPF50?

To use the sunscreen oil:

  1. Start with a clean, dry surface, 30 minutes before you intend to expose your skin to the sun.
  2. Depending on the size of the area, pour an appropriate amount of sunscreen oil on your skin or into your hands.
  3. Rub the sunscreen oil into your skin until all areas have been covered evenly.
  4. Wait for 30 minutes before any sun exposure

How do I remove the sunscreen oil?

To cleanse the skin after applying, use our delicious Body Wash and Body Scrub to gently remove any residue and nourish the skin. Follow up with our cult fave Antioxidant Body Whip to lock in your skin’s hydration.

How to guide

Shake the bottle well before use. Evenly apply a generous amount of oil onto dry skin 20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours or after swimming.

    Amazed.

    I was skeptical at first about a ‘tanning oil’ with SPF 50. But I have been pleasantly surprised. As someone who is very pale and burns incredibly easy, I decided to try this out on my recent trip to Vietnam where it averages 40 Celsius with a UV index of 12+ (extreme). I have tried other SPF50 lotions and have burned within less than 2 hours at a lower UV index. With the Watermelon SPF 50 tanning oil, I have been able to go a full 8 hours being in the hot direct sun with high UV index, and not even get pink! Highly highly highly recommend. A little goes a long way too. It goes on smoothly, and the smell is amazing. If you burn easy and are looking for a nice smelling sun protectant - do not hesitate, this should be your go-to product.

    Unbelievably good!

    As a professional spray tan artist, I’m absolutely obsessed with this product and recommend it to all of my clients heading off on holiday. Not only is it completely safe to use with fake tan (it won’t strip it or cause patchiness like many other sunscreens), but it also offers exceptional protection, smells incredible, and truly delivers on its promise — you’ll achieve a deep, rich, golden tan the safe way.

    It’s easy to apply, doesn’t transfer onto clothes, and feels beautiful on the skin. But what really sets it apart for me? My kids (aged 8 and 10) actually love using it! No more chasing them around to reapply sunscreen — they reach for it themselves. After two full weeks in the Dubai sun, they were perfectly protected and didn’t even have a hint of pink.

    It’s a game-changer — I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

    Good!!

    I love it! It leaves a beautiful color, is not greasy and absorbs quickly, nor does it stain. The only thing is that the container is very small, there should be one with more quantity since it lasts little. But I recommend it 100%!

    Used this in northern QLD peak summer and was not burnt once. Reapplied as usual and found the product wasn't sticky and it was quite comfortable to wear clothing on top. Super lightweight and didn't irritate my sensitive skin. Obsessed
